As soon as I stepped inside the old town of Tallinn, I was literally transported into the middle ages, with cobble-stoned alleys twisting through beautifully preserved pastel-hued dwellings. The medieval towers, churches, cobblestone streets and ancient walls have been well preserved making it feel like you have taken a journey back in time.
